ERA’s Graeme Stewart is participating in the weekend symposium “After Empirical Urbanism” at U of T, Friday Feb. 27 to Sunday Mar. 1.
The three-day symposium is organized by faculty members of the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, including Dean Richard Sommer, Michael Piper, Ultan Byrne, Roberto Damiani, and Mauricio Quiros.
The team will discuss and critique a range of empirical urbanist approaches that have emerged in recent decades.
Graeme’s presentation will review Toronto’s modern regional morphology, and synthesize ongoing research related to Tower Neighbourhood Renewal initiatives.
We invite you to join us for Graeme’s session, which takes place Sunday morning, and encourage participation in the entire symposium, beginning Friday Feb. 27., which looks like a very interesting investigation.
To learn more about the symposium and plan your weekend participation, please see the After Empirical Urbanism website.
