In early November, the Cities Centre at the University of Toronto hosted a symposium focused on Tower Neighbourhood Renewal.
The symposium brought together a variety Tower Renewal stakeholders, including architects, planners, engineers, community organizers, artists, and politicians, as well as academics and students from the region’s Colleges and Universities, to share research, identify gaps in knowledge and collaborate on future initiatives. A second symposium is planned for May 2011.
Adrian Lightstone covered the event for Spacing. His article can be read here.
