In March, ERA’s Graeme Stewart, with University of Toronto Professor Paul Hess, provided the keynotes to the Active Neighbourhoods Canada (ANC) project forum, which is focused on Toronto’s Thorncliffe Park and Flemingdon Park neighbourhoods. See our previous post here.

ANC is engaging in a multi-year, community-led program of neighbourhood research, design, and investment. Following initial research and groundwork, the ANC created a neighbourhood profile of Thorncliffe Park and Flemingdon Parks that can be downloaded here.

ANC will now engage in a multi-year, resident-led process to establish a neighbourhood vision, define priorities for action, and deliver built projects. Look for upcoming workshops and citizen forums and opportunities to participate.
